We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team at our Californian beach restaurant. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving food that meets our high standards of quality and presentation. You will work closely with our team to ensure seamless service and exceed our guests' expectations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes to meet our high standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
- Monitor and control food costs.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
- Participate in menu planning and development.
Requirements
To succeed as a Sous Chef, you should have:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a similar environment.
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Familiarity with HACCP and food safety protocols.
