Job Summary
Arla Foods is seeking a skilled Foodservice Key Account Manager to manage a group of customers and achieve designated sales targets. The ideal candidate will possess detailed category and product knowledge, as well as thorough knowledge of clients' businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop profitable business with new customers
- Manage direct sales process to meet and/or exceed sales targets
- Introduce new products/services to clients and organize visits to current and potential clients
- Submit short and long-range sales plans and prepare sales strategies using available marketing programs
- Retain long-term customer relationships with established clients
- Ensure clients receive high-quality customer service
- Inform clients about new products and services
- Manage market intelligence information requested by global team
- Help develop marketing promotions within dedicated channel
- Manage customers' payment discipline
Requirements
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A strong understanding of the foodservice industry and its trends is essential.
