**Strategic Accounts Accelerator (SAA) is one of four Enablers in EMEA RLM with the primary objective to drive accelerated, incremental growth in the five (5) sub-regions. SAA has four commercial pillars, each with a specific area of coverage:
- Strategic Account Management - Large and Extra-Large Accounts
- Conversion Accounts - Accounts with low market share
- Greenfield Accounts - Existing or new accounts with new hospital builds
- Integrated Health Solutions - Services and solutions business supporting SAA accounts
Performance and Deal Management Lead will partner with the SAA VP and the LT, with a primary responsibility of providing objective, unbiased assessment of SAA’s performance and oversight of key projects / initiatives. She / he will specifically cover three areas: (1) Performance Management (50%); (2) Program Management (30%) and (3) Deal Management (20%). This role will report to the SAA VP and be part of the SAA LT.
**A Day in the Life**
Performance Management (50%)
- Develop the performance management framework, tools, methodologies and indicators across the four SAA pillars
- Track, measure and report on progress and performance outputs with an unbiased / independent view, working closely with the pillar leaders (on monthly basis)
- Develop a performance management dashboard for each pillar (on a quarterly basis)
- Conduct independent regional and customer visits to identify areas of improvement and develop recommendations
Program Management (30%)
- Identify the highest priority transformative programs for each pillar in alignment with the SAA VP
- Track and monitor progress on each program of these working closely with the pillar leaders, COE and regional teams
- Develop a program management dashboard for each pillar that provides a clear line of sight for each program (on a quarterly basis)
- Problem solve and provide additional support to specific programs, if needed
Deal Management (20%)
- Provide dedicated support to all SAA pillar on large deals (as classified by pillar lead and SAA VP)
- Support deal structuring, business case development, contract drafting and negotiation on all large deals
- Be the SAA liaison with Finance and Legal
- Be the Commercial Excellence liaison and the SAA point of contact for all data / market share needs
**Must Haves
**- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in strategy, performance management, analytics, finance, consulting, business development or technical role
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, especially in emerging markets
- Strong understanding of performance metrics and KPIs - financial as well as operational
- Well versed in project or program management tools and methodologies
**Nice to Have**
- Master’s degree (MS, MBA)
- Previous experience in healthcare focused management or strategy consulting
- Previous experience in transaction advisory, M&A, or corporate finance
- Previous experience in the medical device industry
- Well versed in financial modeling, commercial assessments and negotiations
