- The person will lead us into the next growth phase by implementing strategies, policies, frameworks, and processes to unlock transformational, ground-breaking deals for our business.
This role will collaborate with senior leaders across sales, operations, legal, and finance. This is a tremendous opportunity for someone who enjoys the challenge of working with a first-class team in a high-growth environment and is relentless in their pursuit of excellence. You will join a fantastic team and work closely with the Deal Strategy Team.
**What you will be doing**:
- You'll drive revenue by leading Deal Team members who work cross-functionally between sales, pricing, legal, finance, and underwriting in an effort to shorten the cycle time for our sales team
- Support senior leadership in handling day-to-day operational processes, and partner in a trusted adviser capacity to senior Sales Leadership, the sales community, and other internal partners and serve as a blocking issue point across partners to identify friction points within sales processes and help move deals forward
- Support our internal onboarding flow and act as a strategic, tactical, and trusted business partner to the sales organization and internal Ops functions to facilitate sophisticated deal approvals, provide white glove treatment and lighten the administrative burden on our top deal pipeline
- Mentor and develop Deal Desk Coordinators to help elevate deal structuring and negotiating capabilities
- Continuously revise deal desk processes to enable best practices
- Develop a deep knowledge of our internal systems, policies, and merchant onboarding requirements - Supervise and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies and manage as a point of escalation and expert on sophisticated deal questions
- Partner with Sales Operations to facilitate the process, system improvements, and reporting needs; consistently drive efficiencies to improve processes as our business grows
- Maintain and perform against the agreed-upon company and departmental KPIs
- Project managing the end-to-end onboarding of top priority deals
- Reviewing customer agreements/contracts, and working with Legal on amendments made to our global merchant agreements
- Working with Customer Support and/or CSMs on merchant inquiries, as needed
- Identifying and tracking process improvement opportunities in order to build a priority list of high-impact solutions across the sales org
- Recommend/implement ways to evolve existing pricing frameworks, processes, and operations to reduce time to revenue and improve the merchant experience
**About You**:
- Demonstrable experience in leading a global Deal Desk or Sales/Revenue Ops team; Experience as a sales rep at a fast-growing payments company and/or knowledge of underwriting, risk, and compliance is also a huge plus
- Knowledge of B2B sales cycles and practices in an enterprise tech environment
- Proven track record to convert vague and ill-defined problems into well-defined problems, take initiative and encourage consensus building across the entire organization.
- Focused ability to drive towards targeted outcomes and deliver committed results and work at a level expected from senior executives
- Experience in architecting and implementing sophisticated cross-functional initiatives in a high-growth technology company
- Experience working in high-growth, performance-focused environments
- Ability to inspire and influence cross-functional partners and drive decision-making among senior executives
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
