**General Description**
- This position will support & manage challenging and demanding implementation projects for new and existing customers on a regional level. Secondly, the position will also drive business development for VAS activities across the MEA region, Ops Excellence, and lead / support Xsite implementations in the MEA region. This includes all phases of the Xsite implementation (pre-planning, planning, enabling, fostering, and ongoing journey).
**Main Tasks**
- Initiating and implementing newly gained projects, and any re-engineering projects. Ensure full compliance within the CLDM.
- Acquire new VAS customers and grow the current volume of existing VAS customers.
- Lead and or support Xsite key implementation activities such as (Kata coaching, VSM workshop, KPI workshop, Staff Productivity, target behavior model, lean management, lean leadership & tools, visual management, shop floor performance management, and Xsite target setting)
- Monitor Xsite ongoing journeys and ensure all Xsite target setting KPIs are achieved on monthly basis.
- Drive continuous improvement and assist in rolling out Ops Excellence initiatives in the MEA region.
- Drive and ensure OS (Operational Standards) are implemented successfully. OS elements include: (Health Safety & Environment, 5S & Visual management, working instructions, and performance of shop floor management).
- Liaise with HO for any BSC enhancements that must be rolled out in the region.
- Supporting in the RFQ process, which includes customer meetings, solution design, proposal preparation, and price designing.
- Make sure the regions Operational excellence initiatives like Weekly/Monthly Operational reprinting are completed by all sites on time in full.
- Project management LFS implementation in the region MEA & making sure the LFS is running in all sites.
- Current situation analysis (Ops, commercial and financial) including root cause identification and corrective actions planning
- Drive the identification, planning and execution of Operations improvement initiatives (corrective action execution) including but not limited to:
- Stabilize and where necessary re-structure operational teams
- Drive process and system enhancement to strengthen productivity
- Re-structure Operational layout where necessary to optimize material flow, staff travel times and control

**Role specific skills**
- Safety, security and environment management in an Operations environment particularly in VAS/Co-Packing environment.
- Proven experience in customer and contract Management mainly in VAS/Co-Packing industry.
- Excellent knowledge of LEAN continuous improvement methodology, LEAN management, LEAN leadership and Six Sigma
- Excellent knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques
- Project management methods and techniques
- Analytical mindset and structured working methods
- Ability to work in international team across many geographies and cultures
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to set own agenda and work under own initiative
- Highly competent project management scoping, planning, execution, closure, monitoring and reporting skills
- Ideally has managed logistics operations, in particular warehouse or distribution center operations including P&L accountability
**Qualifications and Skills required**:
- At least 5-8 years’ experience in the CL/SCM industry in Operations & Project management preferably in VAS/Co-Packing environment.
- Ability to build and develop sound business supply chain proposals by providing knowledge in VAS/Co-Packing and warehousing + transportation
- Knowledge and experience with warehouse mechanization, automation, storage techniques
- Experience in project and tender management
- Experienced with Lean methodologies and tools.
- Multi-tasking ability to work different programs and plans at the same time
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) - Strong English language skills essential.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Ability to set own agenda and work under own initiative
- Good understanding of supply chain systems (e.g. WMS systems, MRP process tools)
- Proficient in MS Office, including WORD, EXCEL and PowerPoint
- Must be amenable to travel
