The main objective is to drive growth by positioning Measurement Solutions as No Equal within our well-established end users in O&G, petrochemicals, and power industries. This position is responsible for focusing on customer accounts in Abu Dhabi mainly ADNOC, EPCs, and OEMs
The Sales Manager is responsible for managing all sales opportunities and business development activities for the Measurement Solutions Business in the Central Region (UAE). Will be responsible for the agreed sales and bookings targets for the Measurement Solutions product lines and services in the defined sales territory by maintaining & cultivating key relationships and business/project activity.
**Your role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following**:
- Proactively promote and lead the sales of products & services in Abu Dhabi.
- Meet or exceed territory financial objectives required in support of the Regional and Business unit plan.
- Work closely with local business partners (LBPs) to promote & sell solutions based on the Measurement Solution portfolio.
- Strengthen existing customer relationships - protect & grow the existing customers.
- Visit customer sites regularly & liaise with end users to understand their pains.
- Develop account plans for key customers.
- Develop new customers and target competitive accounts in the assigned area or market to gain market share.
- Ensure efficient follow-up of quotes and sales activities.
- Provide accurate project funnel and order booking forecasts to the Regional Manager for the assigned territory.
- Led and worked closely with the Marketing and Business Development team for the implementation of Sales Strategies and Service opportunities with End-users, OEMs, System Integrators, and contractors.
- Improve customer satisfaction by understanding the requirements, and points, communicating & executing solutions to their needs by “Solution Selling.”
- Drive Core differentiation through "Early Engagement"
- Manage & implement pricing/buying agreements.
- Keep up to date with developments and trends in products, industries, and market conditions.
- Adhere to local and International Emerson trade compliance procedures in connection with all transactions and business practices.
- Liaise with Finance to resolve any invoice discrepancies and help reduce the company DSO levels. Fulfill any other reasonable duties as required.**What do I need to be considered for this role?**
**Basic Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation or Electronics with 10 - 12 years (min) of Sales / Business Development experience in the Middle East for Field Instruments in various industries such as Oil&Gas, Power & Water, Petrochemicals, Fertilizers, Metals & Mining, etc. with a proven record of success in sales and marketing management
- This role requires in-depth knowledge of field Instruments like Pressure, Temperature Transmitters, Analytical Instruments, and flow instruments.
- Demonstrates ability to effectively interact, cooperate, and communicate (i.e., must have good oral, written, and presentation skills) within a multi-layered matrix organization.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- 10 - 12 years of relevant experience
- Strong industry credibility and proven success with selling measurement solutions and providing technical support is a mainstay.
- Lead by example in areas of personal character, commitment, organization, selling skills, and work habits.
- Extensive experience in all aspects of supplier relationship/customer management with a keen and strategic understanding of Measurement Solutions Group and end-user strategy is central.
Must possess superior “soloing” skills needed to navigate through the Measurement Solutions group Organization and get things done to support strategic customers.
