We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

**In this role, you will**:
The role is primarily UAE focused but is Regional in its design because it undertakes to develop and deploy C&P Governance activities across WPB Retail & Digital Products
- Support oversight of the management of risks and controls associated with the Retail Product business
- Responsible for ensuring the business adheres to all first, second, third line requirements, as well as ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, new and existing
- Support product approval submissions and key regulatory reporting requirements
- Provide essential risk and control support in terms of issue management and continuous monitoring plans
- Maintain Regulatory and HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit observations together with any issues raised by external regulators

**To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements**:
**Knowledge / Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge and experience of a retail banking business in an emerging market with an understanding of market dynamics
- Knowledge and experience of risk management across various risk categories - credit risk, operational risk, conduct risk, regulatory compliance risk, financial crime compliance risk, legal risk, etc.
- Strong presentation skills, and ability to analyze information and write business papers and reports for senior managers and Committee is preferrable
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
