General Description:

- The Director of Commercial Operations will be acting as a strong enthusiastic and passionate leader with a hands-on approach and full accountability for developing and implementing a team and achieving commercial goals in the GCC.
- He/she is motivated to make impact on patients’ lives
- He/she has experience for strong cross functional collaboration (Medical Affairs, Market Access, HR, Finance, Regulatory, etc.) working in a very dynamic and fast environment with the ability to navigate in a matrix organization within Country and Region.
- The Director of Commercial Operation will oversee the generation of insights from the therapeutic field, and translation of these insights into a comprehensive, cross-functional strategy with new innovative tools that accelerates the delivery of our impactful and innovative medications to the right eligible patients
- Further, he/she will support a clear positioning and an aligned communication approach, incl. messaging, in close collaboration between Commercial, Medical and Market Access customers in the field and will lead the development of tactics and tools for the field force to effectively address customer needs.
- The role will be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (or) Dubai, United Arab Emirates
- The Director of Commercial Operations has a minimum of 15 years of leadership and management experience in multiple commercial roles (marketing, sales, commercial launch including launch readiness phase etc.).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in person and virtual
- Scientific solution and patient-oriented mindset - and capability to move and execute in a rapidly changing, ambiguous environment

Essential Functions of the job:

- Foster a leadership culture which attracts, develops, coaches and retain talent
- Support and revise business strategy through insights and market research and identify therapeutic hurdles, opportunities, and trends
- Develop a commercial launch strategy and drive launch excellence as the Brand Team Lead for our portfolio
- Active part of the future success of the MENA and New Markets organization, creating effective internal communication and foster teamwork.
- Business acumen with strong results orientation and analytical skills, including experience with developing and testing assumptions, developing forecasts, determining commercial value, assessing risks, and identifying business opportunities.
- Lead the development and execution of strategies and tactics through various programs/channels including digital to ensure that HCPs can develop a preference for BeiGene Product(s) based on the clinical and health economic evidence as well as relevant product services. The work is performed in close collaboration with the relevant functions (Medical, Access, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Legal and Compliance etc.).
- Responsible for the execution of activities and projects at National & Regional levels.
- Establish relationships with KOLs and understand the clinical/scientific details for commercial success.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including ability to synthesize data and deliver a clear overview of commercial strategy, opportunities, and risks.
- Agility, good judgment, and decision making, external focus, problem solving, positive attitude and curiosity, driven by innovation and excellence, creative, professional with high integrity, attracted to diversity and international multi-cultural working environment.
- Experienced in multichannel and innovative digital solutions.
- Experienced in Area planning, SF sizing, metrics and KPIs including performance Management

Supervisory Responsibilities:

- YES - As the portfolio in the disease area expands regional commercial resources will need to increase leading to supervisory responsibilities within the area

Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., business, chemistry, biology); MBA or PharmD preferred

Computer Skills: proficiency in all Office programs

Other Qualifications: Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Travel: Willingness to travel frequently (40% of the time in the GCC and Abroad as required)
