**JOB OBJECTIVE**-** Responsible for the acquisition of new sponsors, business partnerships and exhibitors generating revenue for all MCI managed and client events.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**-**
- Research and develop a list of potential sponsors & exhibitors for each conference
- Develop & maintain business relations with existing and potential new clients
- create sponsorship and exhibitor packages
- Maintain Sales Process
- Number of calls per day
- Proposals sent on a weekly basis
- Lead generation for the next working day
- Ethical business transactions
- attend weekly sales update meetings and conference planning meetings as required
- Maintaining a good relationship with seniors and peers
- Working closely with the project manager for all event-related matters
- Maintain knowledge of conference timelines and sponsorship deadlines

**DESCRIPTION OF THE RELATIONSHIPS**-** The Sponsorship Sales manager reports to the Sponsorship department head but will also have parallel reporting lines to senior management where necessary.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**-**
- Minimum of 3 years of consultative B2B or B2C sales experience
- International sales experience preferred
- Strong focus on selling & customer service
- Ability to negotiate confidently at all levels
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and proposals.
- Ability to effectively present information both electronically and in person and respond to questions from clients, customers and MCI management
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions
- Ability to effectively plan sales strategy
- Ability to act independently with mínimal or no supervision
- Experience in self-generating sales leads
- Flexibility around working hours to tap into overseas markets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficient in time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility and adaptability of working in multicultural teams
