**Job Description**:

- Proactively Soliciting and Handling Sales Opportunities: This role involves actively seeking out and managing sales opportunities from MICE-generating accounts through various sales activities (face-to-face sales calls, telephone calls, site inspections, entertainment).
- Proper Turnover: Ensuring that business transactions are handed over to the appropriate departments for proper service delivery.
- Building Long-Term Customer Relationships: Focusing on building valuable, long-term relationships with customers.
- Collaboration with Sales Channels: Working with property Groups & Events Sales to coordinate sales efforts and avoid duplication.
- Customer Relationship Development: Strengthening existing customer relationships and expanding the customer base for future sales opportunities.
- Revenue Goals: Identifying potential customers and setting revenue goals, especially for key accounts and prospects within a specific market segment.
- Contracting Room Nights: Negotiating and finalizing contracts for room nights, considering factors like the number of rooms, average rates, and total revenue objectives of the hotel.
- Communication with Global Sales Offices: Maintaining ongoing communication between the properties and the global sales offices, in any ongoing group offers or groups related opportunities.
- Maintaining Positive Relationships: Ensuring positive relationships with guests, vendors, colleagues, official tourism entities and global sales offices.
- Data Management: Keeping records of accounts, contacts, activities, and business details within Opera S&C.
- Reporting: directly to Cluster Director of Groups & Events

**Qualifications**:

- At least 1-2 years sales experience in a 5-star / luxury hotel with groups & events focus
- Bachelor’s Degree in any related field
- Confident communication skills, excellent written and verbal English is essential
- Second language preferred, but not mandatory
- Strong analytical skills are a must. Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities.
- Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal and team building skills
- Ability to influence and persuade with good negotiation techniques

Additional Information
- High School diploma
- Previous experience of at least 1 year, luxury hotel is an advantage
