**The Role**
As Manager Channel Partners, you will develop and manage relationships with Channel Partners across MENA region, and you will increase the reach and influence of the CIPD by focusing on conversion of registrations to CIPD membership. You’ll have an opportunity to own, develop and implement a clear Business Plan for the “Partnerships landscape” across the MENA region and add value to the overall CIPD’s strategic outcomes.
This is a business development role required to work in collaboration with colleagues responsible for quality assurance, support and marketing activity within Partner organisations. As Manager Channel Partners, you will work as part of a small team and deliver against partner performance, volume, and commercial targets.
**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Building a data led Centre business development plan with particular focus on the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and across the whole MENA region.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with leaders and key people within all important Channel Partner organisations in the MENA region.
- Actively working with other members of the Business Development team to ensure key B2B solutions are effectively supported by Channel Partners (in particular Centers) that have demonstrated a full understanding of the CIPD value proposition.
- Identifying and prioritizing new Centers and markets; upskilling existing center staff responsible for business growth and Membership development. Working closely with central teams responsible for Qualification delivery and in collaboration driving quality improvements.
- Collaborating closely with the Qualification and Membership Manager to deliver all Channel Partner engagement activities: this may include Employer visits, University and Schools visits, student workshops and other promotional initiatives.
- Working closely with Universities and key members of Faculty to grow recruitment and improve employment prospects by leveraging CIPD’s employer relationships
- Formulating and driving an effective Channel Partner marketing agenda (B2B2C) working with key Centers in key markets. Agreeing KPI’s and budgets.
- Driving further development of partnerships with ‘enabling institutions’ (e.g. Regulators, Government), identifying new partners and strengthening value proposition with existing accounts.
**What You’ll Need To Be Successful**
- Business development experience, particularly an ability to identify opportunities for collaboration to add impact and value to existing members.
- Demonstrable, practical experience of business planning methodologies.
- Confident in all aspects of stakeholder management and experience in developing, growing and managing specialist networks.
- Commercially minded approach with strategic lens.
- Ability to analyse, interpret and manipulate performance data.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Proven ability to identify risks, opportunities and implement change.
- Strong organisational skills with proven ability to prioritise and deliver a range of complex and time sensitive projects.
