Tender Executive

**Responsibilities**:
Conduct thorough research to identify international bidding opportunities relevant to the automotive industry, including automotive parts, components, and related services. Stay updated on global automotive market trends, government regulations, and procurement policies.
Evaluate potential tenders in the automotive sector to determine their suitability and alignment with our capabilities and strategic objectives. Assess the risks and benefits associated with each bidding opportunity, considering factors such as automotive technology trends and supply chain dynamics.
Prepare comprehensive and compliant tender proposals for automotive products and services, including technical specifications, pricing strategies, and any required automotive industry certifications or qualifications.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather the necessary information and ensure a cohesive approach to tender submissions.
Ensure that all tender submissions adhere to international procurement regulations and automotive industry standards, such as ISO/TS 16949. Manage the documentation and certification processes specific to the automotive sector.
Engage in negotiations with automotive clients and partners to secure favorable contract terms and conditions, considering automotive supply chain logistics and quality requirements. Address client queries and concerns professionally and efficiently.
Collaborate with the legal department to review and finalize automotive contracts, ensuring that they align with the terms agreed upon during the bidding process, including automotive warranty and quality provisions.
Maintain records of all bidding activities in the automotive sector, including wins, losses, and lessons learned. Generate reports to provide insights into the effectiveness of the tendering process within the automotive industry.
Identify areas for optimization in the tendering process specific to the automotive sector and implement best practices.
**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree or Masters degree preferred.
Proven 5 years’ experience in international tendering and bidding processes within the automotive sector.
Strong understanding of international procurement regulations and compliance, with a focus on automotive quality standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Additional languages relevant to the automotive sector are a plus).
Exceptional project management and organizational skills, tailored to the automotive industry's production and delivery timelines.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tender submissions concurrently within the automotive supply chain.
Proficiency in using bidding and tender management software/tools customized for the automotive sector.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills specific to the automotive industry's quality and warranty requirements.
