Policy Validation Officer

**1.** **JOB PURPOSE**
The Job holder responsibility is broad and general role that will get involved in a range of policy management activities, with the view to specialize as the role evolves. Policy Validation Support Officer will support the Middle East region, giving great exposure to a range of products and business units. You are expected to help deliver the policy management monitoring program ensuring the business is meeting regulatory requirements and all policies, procedures and systems are in line with company compliance plan.
**2.** **RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**
- Ensure that all policies and procedures are implemented and well documented.
- Conduct workshop for partners and clients when required as per process requirements.
- Plan and coordinate the operational activities to guarantee compliance with local Laws and Regulations.
- Act as a representative for the company by providing an extensive support and guidance to Partners & Clients on Middle East regulatory and AML queries and requirements at renewal or inception of their health insurance plan.
- Proactively undertake Client due diligence data gathering and validation activities 6 to 3 months prior the renewal date.
- Supply analytical policy progress report to Sales & Client Managers and join external meetings with partners & clients to facilitate on-boarding requirements discussions at inception or renewals.
- Take the lead in Client on-boarding/renewal enquiries at renewal/inception for assigned portfolio working with internal stakeholders to resolve in agreed timelines.
- Maintain issue log to identify gaps and opportunities for process improvements
- Conduct periodic audit on compliance for brokers, identify problem areas, and help formulate strategy to maintain compliance status.
- Closely partner with regional sales and client management teams, brokers and clients to provide advice, support and guidance on all regulatory and client due diligence matters.
- Support the teams to identify all compliance risks, help gather missing information and avoid non-compliance cases.
- Monitor and report adherence of Client due diligence compliance practice across business.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
**3.** **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- High proficiency in MS office
- Knowledge and experience of the Middle East insurance market and its associated risks is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal with the ability to be concise and clear when taking an internal message/guideline and present it externally.

**Education**:
- Bachelor's (preferred)
