**Job Description**:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic **Executive Chef** to lead the culinary team. As the **Executive Chef**, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, developing menus, ensuring food quality, managing kitchen staff, and delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage all kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Develop, plan, and design menus that reflect seasonal trends, guest preferences, and hotel standards.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency across all dishes.
- Train, motivate, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure kitchen staff follows proper food safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
- Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering, storing, and controlling food and supplies.
- Control food costs by monitoring portion sizes, reducing waste, and optimizing ingredient usage.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including maintaining proper food storage, handling, and kitchen cleanliness.
- Plan and execute special events and other large-scale food operations.
- Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as needed to enhance service and quality.
- Stay current with industry trends, new cooking techniques, and innovation to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
Desired Skill & Expertise:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a senior culinary leadership role, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a large kitchen staff.
- Excellent culinary skills and a deep understanding of cooking techniques, food presentation, and flavor balance.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations and experience managing kitchen cleanliness.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience managing kitchen budgets, food costs, and inventory.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
- A culinary degree or equivalent professional qualifications are preferred.
- A creative approach to menu development and a passion for innovative culinary trends.
