The Technical Presales Consultant is responsible for providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales cycle, ensuring that IT Services solutions meet client needs effectively. This role involves collaborating closely with the sales team, understanding client requirements, and demonstrating technical solutions to prospective clients. The consultant will also assist in developing proposals, conducting product demonstrations, and providing technical guidance to ensure a successful sales process.
**Pre-Sales Support**:
- Work with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions that align with client needs.
- Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to clients, showcasing the benefits and features of IT Services solutions.
- Develop and deliver customized proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Respond to technical questions and provide technical guidance during the pre-sales process.
- Working on the RFP’s and writing the RFP’s for the client.
- Detailed Commercial and Technical Proposal writing as per the client RFP’s.
**Solution Design**:
- Design IT solutions that meet client requirements, ensuring feasibility and alignment with company capabilities.
- Collaborate with the technical and project teams to develop solution blueprints and implementation plans.
- Perform detailed analysis and documentation of client requirements and technical specifications.
**Technical Expertise & Support**:
- Act as the primary technical resource for the sales team and clients throughout the sales cycle.
- Provide technical training and support to internal teams, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge to support clients.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in IT Services and emerging technologies.
**Client Relationship Management**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
- Gather client feedback and collaborate with product development teams to improve solutions and services.
**Post-Sales Handover**:
- Ensure a smooth transition of projects to the implementation team, providing necessary documentation and technical details.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in information technology or business administration.
**Additional Information** Experience**:
- Minimum: 3-5 years of experience in a technical pre-sales role within the IT services industry.
- Desired: 5-7 years of experience with a strong successful solution selling and technical consulting track record.
**Skills & Abilities**:
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, and networking solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate technical language into business terms.
- Proficiency in solution architecture and design.
- Ability to conduct workshops and training sessions for clients and internal teams.
