**Purpose**:

- As the Head of Product, you will be responsible for overseeing the full profit and loss (P&L) of multiple ecommerce websites and apps for GMG Sports division
- You will lead and mentor a team of product managers, product owners, UX/UI designers, Web and Site Ops and other product-related specialists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
- Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to ensure the team's continuous growth and success

**Strategy and Vision**:

- Develop and articulate a clear and ambitious product strategy for our ecommerce websites and apps, aligned with the overall business goals and objectives
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation

**Product Development and Roadmap**:

- Lead the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of features and functionalities that enhance user experiences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI, engineering, marketing, and data analytics, IT and Development teams. to define and prioritize product features
- Create and manage a comprehensive product roadmap, aligning it with business priorities and customer needs

**User Experience and Conversion Optimization**:

- Champion customer-centric design principles to optimize the user experience across all digital touchpoints
- Utilize data-driven insights and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement A/B testing strategies to increase conversion rates

**Analytics and Performance Tracking**:

- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the success and impact of product initiatives, providing regular reports to stakeholders
- Use data-driven analysis to inform decision-making, monitor product performance, and identify areas for optimization

**Team Leadership and Development**:

- Oversee and mentor a team of product managers, UX/UI designers, and other product-related specialists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
- Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to ensure the team's continuous growth and success

**Stakeholder Management**:

- Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of product strategies with overall business objectives
- Effectively communicate product updates, progress, and challenges to key stakeholders at regular intervals

**Person Specific **Requirements**:
**Base Requirement**:5+ years** in a similar Product Management Role

**Minimum Experience and Knowledge**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of at least 5-10 years in product management, with significant experience in ecommerce and digital platforms.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce business models, customer behavior, and market dynamics in the Middle East
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing product strategies that drive growth and increase customer satisfaction.
- Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing, high-pressure environment while maintaining a focus on delivering results.

**Job-Specific Skills**:

- Experience in leading product in a multinational retail & ecommerce organization
- Experience into re-platforming
- Experience with various platforms such as SFCC, Big Commerce, Shopify, Kibo Commerce
- Experience with Mobile tech such as, Native, React and Flutter
- Experience with Algolia is preferred
- Can do attitude and change mindset
- Ability to motivate a team and increase quality and speed of execution
