We’re looking for an entrepreneurial sales leader with energy, passion, and initiative to lead our global sales team selling Digital Currency solutions to Central Banks and the subsequent Commercial Bank ecosystems. R3 has an incredible opportunity to further develop our client base of Central Banks using our technology developing Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) strategies. You will develop and execute our sales strategy and drive new revenue opportunities. You will be accountable for recruitment, enablement, and execution for Digital Currency sales to Central Banks globally. You will drive revenue and assure the continued successful trajectory of the business. In additional, you will play an important leadership role in our quickly growing team in the Middle East.

**Drive Revenue Generation**:

- Have an in-depth and detailed understanding of R3’s products and services to confidently provide mentorship for your Enterprise Sales team.
- Be hands on direct with customers, your team, and deals - drive the pace of the sale with creative mindset.
- Hire, enable, develop, and empower your team to proactively prospect, identify, qualify, and build a sales pipeline.
- Coach the team to close business and to navigate complex negotiations and organisations.
- Evangelize our sales methodology and drive adoption and expertise within your team.
- Foster strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunities.
- Clear accountability for your team’s forecast and pipeline.
- Scale, strategically plan, and develop sales territories.
- Work closely with the Product and Professional Services team to achieve customer satisfaction.

**Drive Revenue Innovation**:

- Develop new revenue streams and new playbooks to maximise the value to our customers of our technology, resulting in revenue for R3.
- Feedback customer requirements to validate and strengthen our product roadmap.
- Develop strategies to leverage ecosystems of Commercial Banks, Large Corporates and FMIs.

**Support Regional Collaboration**:

- Provide leadership and executive presence for the Middle East team.
- Drive collaboration between various local and global functions.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- 6+ years of experience leading a sales team directly.
- 6+ years of experience of quota-carrying experience in a competitive market with a focus on new business.
- 4+ years of experience in direct sales to Central Banking customers with awareness of unique customer needs and associated sales cycle.
- Understanding of payments systems, CBDC, and ability to build deep trust with business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience recruiting and managing a successful and talented direct software sales team while driving them toward success.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology.
- Experience developing and implementing sales playbooks.
- Ability to thrive in a high-growth software company.
- A track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets.
- Disciplined approach to qualifying opportunities.
- Based in UAE with ability to manage global team and travel up to 50% time.
