Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process.
  • Support current and future business needs through development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance, ensuring full utilization of the ZOHO Tool.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
  • Oversee new starter process, ensuring employees are provided with all information and resources required along with payroll and visa requirements.
  • Processing of visa cancellation of visas/Exit pass for employees and dependents through online of Tasheel/GDRFA/Echannel.
  • Organized and monitored periodic renewal of all kinds of Work Permits, Labour Contract, Emirates ID, Medical Fitness certificates, Visa Applications (Residence and Visit), Trade License and Vehicle Registration, etc...
  • Provide probation documentation to managers when new starter joins, diarize probation check in and completion dates and ensure successful completion is formally communicated (or performance management process initiated in case of probation extension).
  • Work with managers throughout performance management proceedings, coaching through process and documenting outcomes of meetings, performance development plans and following up on progress.
  • Undertake exit interviews/documents with all leavers (where appropriate).
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.

Requirements:

  • Education Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a similar role
  • Experience in the UAE market is a must.
  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
  • Good knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • Indepth knowledge of the UAE labor law and HR best practices.
  • Good writing and speaking skills.
  • Highly flexible and openminded.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • High level of internal and external service orientation.
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills, excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills, competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Excellent command of English
  • Valid UAE Driving license would be an added advantage.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • HR and administrative assistant: 3 years (preferred)
