Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a dynamic Parts Advisor.

In this role, you will serve as the brand and parts division representative to customers, fostering strong customer relations to ensure an end-to-end engaged customer journey in part operations, encompassing the retail counter and workshop.

The primary focus is on achieving parts supply, revenue targets, and enhancing customer retention.

Responsibilities:

Ø Achieve financial objectives through effective upselling, discount control, and promotion of accessories to meet monthly revenue targets.


Ø Strengthen customer retention by consulting on customer needs and parts requirements, aligned with recommended maintenance schedules, fostering long-term relationships.


Ø Collaborate with Job Controllers and Service Advisors on the status of parts, availability, quotations, orders/arrivals, and provide timely progress updates to customers, ensuring on-time delivery commitments.


Ø Actively comply with all Standard Operating Procedures, Company policies, and Distributor Programs to maintain consistency in the customer experience.


Ø Ensure the open and closure of sales orders/reservations to optimize stock levels, revenue, and mitigate the risk of financial loss on a daily basis.

Ø Capture accurate customer details on the system for effective customer data management.

Required Skills for Success:

Ø Spare parts sales experience in the automotive industry.

Ø Strong team management abilities.

Ø Knowledge of parts catalogues.

Ø Proficient in systems.

About the Team:


This position involves direct interaction with Customers, Service Advisors, Parts Supervisors, Job Controllers, Technicians, and Workshop Managers, reporting directly to the Aftersales Manager.


Qualifications:

Ø Possess a good general level of Technical Education, Diploma, Bachelor's, or Automotive Engineering Degree.


Ø Minimum of 5 years of experience within spare parts operations, preferably as a Parts Executive or in a similar parts operation role.

Ø Proficient in spoken and written English to effectively communicate with supervisors and customers.

Ø Working knowledge of MS Office, with preferred any system related proficiency.

Ø Familiarity with Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC) and strong product and process knowledge.
