A little taste of your day-to-day
Prepare all Housekeeping correspondence, reports, memos, procedures, and purchase requestsKeep up to date housekeeping files and maintain an effective and efficient filing systemControl office supplies and be responsible for the inventoriesKeep up-to-date and accurate records of all housekeeping employees' annual leave, public holidays, medical leave, and attendance recordsUpdate staff attendance and manage the payrollKeep up-to-date and accurate records of outsourced staff's attendance and liaise with vendors monthly invoiceKeep track of all ongoing projects and inventories, provide reports to Head of HousekeepingKeep track of all outsourced service contractors, ensure the service is delivered as scheduled and invoices are posted on timeRaise purchase requests according to the stock level and ensure that stock is delivered on timeCommunicate effectively with all levels of staffEnsure that all messages are accurately taken and relayed correctly and promptlyPromote a friendly and conducive working relationship within the department and with other departmentsLiaise with vendors on appointments for the Head of Housekeeping whenever necessaryPrepare reports and provide necessary data for the Head of HousekeepingHave a good knowledge of housekeeping operations and the Hotel's facilities and activitiesComply with Hotel rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and grooming standardsTake minutes of housekeeping meetings and any other meetings as assignedMaintains knowledge of special programs and events in the hotel to recognize and respond to guests needsWork effectively with customers and colleagues from different viewpoints, cultures, and countriesWork to understand and consider the global nature of the business
