KEY PERFORMANCEINDICATORS

  • To provide sales support tothe Director of Sales.
  • To respond to all guestrequests maintain standards of service and clientrelationships.
  • To achieve sales target set byhotel.
  • Is aware of and abides by all hotelpolicies procedures & relevantlegislations
  • Reports any hazards risksaccidents as required
  • Abides by and is aware ofall relevant Occupational Health & Safetylegislation
  • Ensures all directions are followedout at the request of any level of SeniorManagement.

Operational:

  • Beactively involved in the Sales Department in order to maximizesales.
  • Ensure compliance with Accor minimumstandards pertaining to Sales.
  • Conduct salescalls to existing and prospective leisure/corporate accounts as perareas assigned by DOS.
  • Maintenance of all salesactivities and account information in the SalesDatabase.
  • In conjunction with the Sales Teampreparation and action of monthly sales activitiesplan.
  • Entertaining of qualified clients withinthe hotel F&B Outlets.
  • Attend andassist in the coordination of hotel functions as requested byDOS.
  • Preparation of monthly report to Directorof Sales.
  • Constantly investigate and assessmarket conditions and competition to determine effective andproductive sales programs.
  • Establish andmaintain relationships with all the current and prospectivecustomers.
  • Update & upgrade knowledgeand awareness of special events conventions business meetings andother opportunities in the market which would help for the sales ofthe facilities provided
  • Design and executesales plans and strategies for the assigned segments andresponsible for increasing the sales andrevenue.
  • Plan & initiate action plan toapproach and secure new business for theorganization.
  • Any matter which may affect theinterests of the hotel should be brought to the attention of theManagement.
  • Assist the team in the developmentof the Strategic Sales Plan for thesegments.
  • Ensure to achieve objectivesestablished in the Organizations StrategicPlan.

KnowledgeandExperience

  • Diplomain Tourism / Hospitality Management / EventsManagement
  • Minimum 2 3 years of experience in asimilar capacity
  • Excellent reading writing andoral proficiency in English language
  • Proficientin MS Excel Word &PowerPoint
