Head of Strategy

The Senior Strategy andData Analyst supports the Office of Institutional Planning andEffectiveness (OIPE) by developing and maintaining variousinstitutional dashboards and administer and facilitate KPIs-basedperformance review of all academic and non-academic units. S/heshall also analyze institutional data, summarize evidence-basedresults and draw conclusions, suggest remedial actions forcontinuous improvement, evaluate resulting improvements, and writerelevant reports.
ESSENTIALDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer and facilitate thePerformance Management cycle, that begins with KPIs selection,baseline and target setting, preparing Performance Contracts,carrying out balance scorecard analysis, assessing the progressthrough interim reviews, and submitting the mid-year and finalreports to senior management on the achievement and gaps of eachoffice.
- Schedule and administer student, staffand external stakeholders’ surveys relating to theUniversity KPIs and submit the reports to Deans, Managers andCabinet for strategic decisions and actions after the approval ofthe Executive Director.
- Obtain and reviewaction plans to enhance the effectiveness of all academic a nd non-academic units in the University.
- Evaluateimprovements resulting from suggested actions (closing theloop).
- Prepare Strategic Plan Monitoring Reporton annual basis .
- Develop, administer, andmaintain visualization dashboards and reports for various datatasks, including Fact Book and KPIsAssessment.
- Perform thorough validity check ofthe institutional and college-leveldata.
- Analyze the validated data, drawconclusions, and write reports.
- Coordinate withother team members of OIPE and perform institutional effectivenessrelated tasks as directed by the Executive Director ofOIPE.
- Oversee the process of offices/collegesbenchmarking against peer and aspirantuniversities.
- Prepare, cleanse, and analyzeinstitutional data for Fact Book and other similar publications incoordination with the Institutional Researchunit.
- Gather evidence, prepare reports forspecified UN SDGs and contribute in THE Impact Rankingsubmission.
- Perform other tasks as directed bythe Executive Director of OIPE.
QUALIFICATIONS& EXPERIENCE:
- A bachelor's degree incomputer science, IT, Business or related field is required.However, a master’s degree is preferred for thisposition.
- The applicant must have at least fiveyears’ experience in strategy related tasks, analyzingdata, preparing dashboard, and writing effectivereports.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Work isnormally performed in a typical interior/office workenvironment.
- No or very limited physical effortrequired.
- No or very limited exposure tophysical risk.
- The position may entail workafter duty hours, on weekends, holidays and in emergency (i.e. maybe subject to “on-call”responsibilities).
