The Senior Manager - TalentManagemnent is part of the ‘OrganizationalDevelopment’ Centre of Excellence (COE) within thefunction of Group Human Capital & Culture at G42. The roleis a specialist in Learning, Talent Management and SuccessionPlanning. The Senior Manager - Talent Management is the custodianof the group-wide talent management strategy and plans for careerand competency education to support succession management andhigh-potential talent identification across the group. The rolealso provides expert support on other talent & learninginitiatives/ projects across thegroup.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to, and where accountable,define/ maintain Talent Management/ Learning & Developmentrelated policies and processes that support G42’s peoplestrategy and objectives.
- Help management solvespecific talent development challenges or leverage opportunities toimplement best-in-class practices.
- Enhance andmaintain the onboarding and induction employeeexperience.
- Design and maintain the trainingmaterial for in-house courses conducted by GHCC or otherfunctions.
- Provide ongoing education andguidance to managers and leadership teams about the need to adopt aholistic view of Talent Management requirements incorporatingLearning, Career Development and SuccessionPlanning.
- Manage inputs from various sourceslike Performance Management, business strategies &organizational goals, personal aspirations, and market imperativesthat influence these processes.
- Research newtechnologies and methodologies in workplace learning and presentthis research to internal stakeholders for alignment to the G42context.
- Be the custodian of the LMS system andmonitor key outputs, including the ability to generate appropriatemonitoring reports for training spend, courseattendance/completions and communicate/ present to internalleadership teams.
- Own and monitor the trainingeffectiveness evaluation process for all Talent/ L&Dprograms run by the GHCC teams.
- Provideappropriate reports and analysis of learning needs to support thebudgeting process for learning and career developmentactivities.
- Design and develop communicationprograms to link talent development more clearly to performancemanagement.
- Coach and build the capability ofother stakeholders within the area ofspecialization.
- Participate and/or leadrelevant projects (divisional and/or pan-G42) to implement bestpractices and new solutions.
- Keep up to datewith external trends and best practices in the areas of expertiseand HR more broadly.
- Build relationships andform alliances with external counterparts, communities of practiceand stakeholders.
- Understand and anticipate theneed for change, diagnose the underlying issues and build the casefor change with stakeholders. Build frameworks to plan and managethe continuous process of change, including dependencies, risks,potential scenarios and options to mitigate.
- Bean ambassador for the function and represent the G42 HR internallyand externally (as appropriate).
- Other dutieswithin the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as needed by thedepartment or requested by management.
Desired candidate profile
- Extensive relevant HRexperience (generalist or specialist) gained in a sizeable complexorganization(s) with multiple stakeholders (including matrixrelationships); and/ or experience in an HR advisory practice of aleading consulting firm operating in the middleeast.
- Specialized design and implementationexperience in the areas of (Talent Development, learning strategy,career management, and successionplanning).
- Knowledge of current thinking inHuman Resources issues and trends and evidence of ContinuingProfessional Development.
- Is personallycredible and can provide examples and referees at senior levels/multiple disciplines across the organization that validate HRexpertise and how strategic aims have beenmet.
- Desirable - Masters in HR or similarfield; CIPD/ SPHR certification is preferred
