The role is based in Dubai. Recent leadership experience in GCC countries is a MUST HAVE. Current operations in UAE, KSA, Bahrain and Qatar .
Job Scope / Responsibilities
- Plan and execute appropriate business strategies to build a growing and sustainable business in the Middle East region, serving clients across industry segments; achieve revenue, margin targets and client satisfaction metrics as defined by "Our Client's" Leadership team.
- Lead business development activities and develop new opportunities in existing clients, as well as select new prospects in the region. Focus on sale of outsourcing/managed services and system integration services
- Engage and manage clients at appropriate levels, including senior technology and business executives in the target clients
- Key focus on identifying, developing and closing large multi-year, multi-million strategic transformation opportunities
- Guide the teams in negotiating commercial terms of engagement
- Provide thought leadership for sustainable regional growth.
- Represent "our client" within the external forums as a key speaker / business head.
- Lead the various technology practices and functions ; ensure alignment of the region with "Our Cient's" Middle East and global strategies
Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 15 years of IT Services industry experince
- Currently based in Middle East region for a minimum of 7 years
- Recent role performed of a Country Head or Geo Head
- Exposed to new Geo setup in countries and experience in managing a highly matrix company setup
- Strong knowledge of the IT Services market within BFSI/ Telco/ Govt/ LifeSciences/Manufacturing/ O&G industry segments
- Experience in large IT project engagements with a good awareness of the tools and technologies used in large scale biz and working in an onsite / offshore model
- Strong customer relationship skill at CXOlevels.
- In touch with the new tech developments in Digital, Cloud and Big data plus legacy applications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work with multi-cultural and geographically distributed direct and virtual teams. Should be a team person and able to lead different teams to a common goal.
- Ability to influence decision making and work across executive and operational levels on IT and Business side
- Knowledge of regional language for business communication is a big advantage
