Role Summary

This role is primarily concerned with selling delegate places on our training courses and is a lead follow-up sales position where you will proactively call and follow up on any qualified self-generated leads, as well as those generated via our international marketing efforts. The Training Consultant will be responsible for selling and advising our clients on the best possible training solutions from our extensive portfolio of courses running throughout the year and on any additional services offered, drawing on the experience and expertise of the business development and technical staff where required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue by selling on specialized public training courses
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell our whole portfolio of programs
  • Provide support, where needed, to ensure revenue is collected on sales that are made
  • Work towards sales and call rate targets set by the Head of Sales and Marketing Director
  • Experience in using tools such as CRM, Call Center System, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Rocket Reach, and 6Sense
  • Provide detailed feedback to divisional managers and other departments on the progress of each event and sales campaign
  • Arrange and conduct client meetings (in-person and online) to build strong business relationships
  • Manage and grow key accounts, ensuring sustained engagement and maximizing revenue from KG public training solutions
  • Contribute to new lead generation activities using all available resources
  • Following up on all leads in a timely and proactive manner
  • Ensure consistency of any sales/marketing information (keeping customers apprised of current prices, discounts (if any), target audience, priorities, resource availability, etc.)
  • Liaise closely with both the wider KGC teams and the event team to ensure sales activities are conducted in the most efficient manner, and it is a way that is aligned with the wider business
  • Additional duties as required in support of the overall business, and as the need arises

Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Experience
: Minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in the training/public courses industry
