Role Purpose:

To manage and grow IFFCO's business within the organized trade (organized trade) channel by developing strategic partnerships with key retail accounts, driving sales performance, ensuring effective execution of trade agreements, and maximizing profitability through strong negotiation and in-store excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Account Management

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key organized trade customers (e.g., Carrefour, Lulu, Spinneys, Choithrams, Union Coop, etc.).
  • Negotiate annual business plans, trading terms, and joint business development agreements (JBP).
  • Ensure timely execution of promotions, product launches, and merchandising activities.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to evaluate performance, identify gaps, and propose corrective actions.

2. Sales Performance

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales, distribution, and profitability targets for assigned accounts.
  • Monitor account-level performance (sell-in, sell-out, and stock levels) and take proactive measures to achieve business objectives.
  • Coordinate with demand planning and supply chain teams to ensure accurate forecasting and product availability.

3. Trade Marketing & Execution

  • Implement trade marketing initiatives and ensure visibility standards are maintained across key outlets.
  • Liaise with the marketing team to ensure alignment on brand and promotional strategies.
  • Track ROI of promotional spend and suggest optimization measures.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with finance, logistics, and category management teams to ensure smooth order-to-cash process.
  • Partner with shopper marketing and merchandising teams for in-store activation and planogram compliance.

5. Market & Competitor Intelligence

  • Track competitor activities, pricing, and promotions in organized trade.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management for category growth and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in FMCG sales, with at least 3 years in key account management / organized trade within the UAE or GCC.
  • Strong understanding of organized trade dynamics, category management, and joint business planning.
  • Proven experience managing major retail accounts (Carrefour, Lulu, etc.).

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, SAP or similar ERP systems).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Team player with a proactive, action-oriented mindset.
