Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management
    • Receive, classify, and store all food & beverage, materials, supplies, and equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including stock counts and replenishment schedules.
    • Ensure that all stock is properly labeled, stamped, and bar-coded.
  • Stock Issuance and Distribution
    • Issue stock to various departments on a timely basis, ensuring that all requisition forms are properly signed and approved.
    • Verify all goods received to ensure they meet purchase specifications and are supported by purchase requisitions.
  • Storehouse Maintenance
    • Ensure that all storage areas are secure, clean, and properly organized.
    • Identify slow-moving and short-expiry stock and implement strategies to reduce inventory levels.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Assist in the monthly food & beverage inventory count for stores.
    • Provide regular inventory reports to management, highlighting any discrepancies or areas for improvement.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless inventory management.
    • Collaborate with management to plan and implement effective store operations.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Senior school qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in stores or a related field.
  • Skills
    • Knowledge of inventory management practices, with a focus on cost control and quality.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel).
