Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cashier Operations Specialist to join our team at Ennismore. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cash handling processes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Remittance Collection and Verification

Collect and verify daily remittances in the presence of a witness, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

  1. Cash Management

Ensure sufficient change is available for all cashiers, update foreign exchange rates, and make bank deposits as required.

  1. Reporting and Record-Keeping

Prepare and maintain accurate records, including the General Cashier Daily Report, and ensure all cashiers' float records are up-to-date.

  1. Float Management

Conduct surprise float counts and maintain over and short records for each cashier, reporting any discrepancies to the Financial Controller.

  1. Compliance and Training

Ensure all cashiers are aware of hotel fire and life safety procedures, and attend all briefings, meetings, and trainings as assigned by management.

Requirements

  1. Education and Experience

Diploma in Accounting or Finance, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar capacity.

  1. Skills and Competencies

Excellent communication skills, service-oriented with attention to detail, ability to work effectively in a team, self-motivated, and well-presented at all times.
