Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to lead our waste management operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the execution of operational activities related to service provision, including sweeping, waste collection, cleaning services, and other services as per contract requirements.

The incumbent will ensure the provision of high-quality services in conformance with client and contractual requirements. This includes maintaining a clear understanding of contractual requirements, developing and executing monthly operations work plans, and monitoring performance to achieve zero penalties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage overall waste management operations, ensuring timely delivery of services in accordance with client and contractual requirements.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of contractual requirements, scope of work, and standard operating procedures.
  • Develop and execute monthly operations work plans, monitoring performance to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Investigate delays and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline; Engineering degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in handling waste management operations, preferably in large-scale service contracts.
  • Experience in delivering municipal waste collection contracts in the GCC region is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities are required.
