Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Waiter to join our team at Rosewood Abu Dhabi. As a Waiter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests, utilizing suggestive selling techniques to enhance their dining experience.
  • Record orders accurately and input them into the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring seamless communication with the kitchen.
  • Retrieve and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as food orders, to guests in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and maintain positive guest relations at all times.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned stations and service areas.
  • Guide the activities of assigned Buspersons to ensure optimum service to guests.
  • Clear each course following procedures laid down in the departmental manual.
  • Present guest checks and process payments through the Cashier.
  • Adhere to payment, cash handling, and credit policies/procedures.
  • Clean and reset tables immediately after guests depart.
  • Collect and report tips at the end of the assigned shift.
Requirements
  • Minimum three years of experience as a Waiter.
  • High school diploma.
  • Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and follow up on tasks.
  • Ability to understand guests' service needs and work cohesively with coworkers as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
  • Language: Required to speak, read, and write English with fluency in other languages preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to exert physical effort, endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, and satisfactorily communicate with guests and coworkers.
  • Licenses & Certifications: Minimum 21 years of age to serve alcohol.
