Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Supervisor to join our team at Juma Al Majid Holding Group L.L.C. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Procurement and Sourcing: Receive and review purchase requests, prepare and send RFQs to approved suppliers, negotiate prices and terms, and select the best supplier for each requirement.
  2. Purchase Order Management: Prepare and forward purchase orders to suppliers, ensure timely delivery, and follow up with suppliers to resolve any issues.
  3. Supplier Evaluation and Management: Conduct regular evaluations of suppliers, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to ensure quality products and services.
  4. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit monthly purchase process reports, analyze supplier performance, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  5. Team Management: Supervise and evaluate purchase representatives, provide guidance and support, and ensure a smooth and professional working relationship among team members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from a reputable university.
  • At least 23 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Oracle, and other relevant software applications.
  • Self-motivated and self-starter with good interpersonal skills and management qualities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
