Business Development Manager

About the role
The Business Development Manager / Account Manager at Centro CDX is responsible for establishing and maintaining profitable relationships with customers. This involves actively prospecting for new accounts and maximizing sales potential with existing customers.
The primary external representative of our company, you must convey a sense of expertise in our services and capabilities. As a Business Development Manager, you will perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization and support the internal development of the company.
You are expected to forecast sales and meet performance targets on a monthly and quarterly basis. Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively identifying new business opportunities
- Developing and working on internal company certification
- Performing territory and market assessments and developing market strategies
- Identifying and evaluating new markets and partnership opportunities
- Delivering calls and presentations to introduce capabilities and value proposition
- Communicating effectively within internal teams
- Actively managing the current customer base
- Effectively presenting and discussing products and services
- Developing a strategic sales plan
- Understanding and complying with the current sales system
Essential skills include:
- Bachelor's degree in business or sciences or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience in services, tool or equipment sales
- Proficient in MS Office tools and other technology systems
- Demonstrated success in business generation and development
- Proven business analysis and judgment
- Proven ability to effectively communicate a sales message
- Understanding of technical drawings and CAD Systems
- Exceptional communication, presentation, problem-solving and negotiating skills
