Edgeoutsourcing is a leading multinational retail and entertainment company seeking a Compensation Coordinator to join its team in Dubai. As a key member of the human resources department, you will play a crucial role in handling the company's payroll operations.

About the Role:

The Compensation Coordinator will be responsible for gathering and processing employee compensation data, ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time. You will work closely with other departments, including HR and finance, to ensure that payroll processes are in line with company policies and legal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gathering Employee Data: Collect information on hours worked by each employee, including overtime, leave days, and absences. Ensure that this data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Calculating Payroll: Use a computerized system to calculate the correct amount of pay for each employee, accounting for overtime, bonuses, and any deductions that may apply.
  • Processing Payments: Prepare and execute pay orders through an electronic system, ensuring that all employees receive their wages in a timely manner.
  • Tax and Benefit Payments: Process employee taxes and payments for benefits such as health insurance or retirement funds, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Maintaining Payroll Records: Keep detailed records of employee compensation, including hourly rates, wages, benefit rates, and information for new hires.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: You should have between 1-3 years of experience in a payroll or similar administrative position.
  • Technical Skills: You should have excellent command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, as well as experience with computerized payroll systems.
  • Knowledge of Payroll Procedures: You should be familiar with payroll processes, including how to calculate wages, handle overtime and deductions, and process taxes and benefits.
