About the Job
As a Regional Sales Executive - Telecom, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and adoption of Apple products and services in the Africa, Islands, and Middle East region. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sell-through targets and drive sales through channels.
Your Responsibilities
- Maintain excellent relationships with telecom operators and develop focused alliances with Apple.
- Develop and execute both strategic and tactical plans to result in successful achievement of Apple's sell-through targets.
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas and become an expert in understanding sales through channels.
- Enable Apple's value-added distributors teams to manage telecommunications operators and oversee strategic planning and execution.
- Collaborate with regional sales leaders to support their overall country strategies and sales objectives.
- Stay informed about competitors' activities, account histories, emerging trends, and identify opportunities for growth.
- Build and sustain effective partnerships with senior and executive board levels.
- Increase penetration into new and existing telecom points of sale and expand Apple's focus across carrier sales teams.
- E nsure conformity with Apple/Carrier agreements.
- Work to ensure competitive positioning in all consumer offers.
- Coordinate above-the-line marketing activities and adhere to Apple creative assets.
- Collaborate with support functions to resolve trading issues within accounts.
- Perform administrative tasks including sales reporting and maintaining files.
Key Requirements
- You have a strong sales & business management background with significant Telecom experience, including demonstrable sales management experience.
- You should have shown engagement with Executive & Board Level partners.
- You have a track record of functioning within a large matrixed organisation is advantageous.
- You have Significant channel sales experience in the Mobile Telecom sector.
- You have Validated Senior/Executive Carrier Account Management experience.
- You have a Successful track record in a fast moving, high growth environment.
- You have a Strong background in the telecoms market.
- You have Previous experience of working within a matrix organisation.
- You should speak fluent native level English.
