Facility Management Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Management Director to join our team at the CHALHOUB Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the country function team to ensure an efficient, productive, and motivated work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning: Formulate and communicate performance objectives and continuously monitor progress and alignment towards group strategic objectives.
- Business Planning: Review and support the execution of the business plan for the Country FM in line with the strategic objectives of the department and the Group in general.
- Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Review and work on defining and improving SLAs, and targeted KPIs.
- Operational Excellence: Continuously look for areas of improvement and betterment initiatives to enhance the overall condition and processes for our facilities.
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead the country function team to ensure an efficient, productive, and motivated work environment.
- Service Agreements: Review and approve service agreements for Soft and Hard FM including Scope of work, SLAs, Terms & Conditions in addition to the commercial assessment.
- Sustainability and Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE): Liaise and coordinate with Sustainability division to initiate, implement, and ensure compliance with Sustainability standards guidelines and targets. Liaise and Coordinate with HSSE to ensure compliance with the group's policies and International and local Safety and Security standards.
- Service Provider Management: Monitor and provide guidance and support to Service providers and contractors serving our facilities to ensure best quality and cost-efficient solutions are provided.
- Facility Commissioning: Oversee the commissioning of new facilities and handover process.
- Asset Management: Review and analyse Asset Management Reports and Data including Asset Lifecycle reports, Spare parts inventory stock vs consumed.
- Performance Monitoring: Provide Dashboards and KPI monitoring tools for measuring technical performance and customer service.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Build, monitor, and review Budget and control expenditures per facility.
- Reporting: Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for providing insights and align with management targets and guidelines.
- Employee Performance Management: Assign individual objectives for employee performance management purposes, manage performance, empower staff, and provide formal and informal feedback to support professional development and maximize performance.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relations and trust with stakeholders including Mall management, Retail Managers, and the interdisciplinary support functions.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
- Experience: Minimum experience of 5 years in a similar Facility management role.
- Certifications: fmp or cfm Certification is a plus.
- Skills: High Leadership and Communication skills. People person who can perform under pressure and deliver satisfying Customer experience. Strong Contract Administration and negotiation skills. Financial knowledge to build, monitor, and control the function's Budget and P&L. Familiar with Project Management and FM Consultancy at various stages of project.
