Job Summary:

Nathan HR Human Resources is seeking a skilled Business Development Executive to expand our portfolio within the architectural and residential building sectors. The ideal candidate will possess experience in architectural drawings, a deep understanding of the residential construction market, and a degree in engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the architectural and residential construction industries.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as architects, contractors, real estate developers, and property owners.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends and areas for growth in the residential building sector.
    • Generate leads, prepare proposals, and deliver presentations to potential clients.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing clients in the residential building market.
    • Foster strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including design and engineering, to align project goals with client expectations.
  • Architectural & Technical Expertise:
    • Leverage knowledge of architectural drawings to provide input during client discussions, ensuring the technical feasibility of projects.
    • Assist clients in understanding the design and construction process, including any technical aspects related to architectural and structural elements of residential buildings.
    • Work closely with design teams to ensure that architectural concepts align with client needs and project goals.
  • Project Coordination:
    • Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure successful project execution from concept to completion.
    • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and budgets, ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed to the client's satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare regular reports on business development activities, including sales forecasts, client interactions, and market analysis.
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data to drive strategic decisions.
    • Provide insights and feedback to improve business development strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Architectural, or a related field).
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in business development within the architectural or construction industries, particularly in residential buildings.
    • Strong understanding of architectural drawings and the design process.
    • Experience working with architects, contractors, and clients in the residential construction sector.
  • Skills:
    • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to interpret technical drawings and provide insights to clients.
    • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) is a plus.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
