Key Responsibilities- Quality Control Operations: Direct and oversee quality control operations, developing and implementing quality programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Quality Protocols: Establish and manage quality control protocols to monitor product quality at various stages of production, including raw materials, packing materials, intermediate products, and finished goods.
- Inspections and Quality Checks: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify and address any quality issues, ensuring that products meet the required standards.
- Training and Development: Develop methods of inspection, testing, and sampling, and conduct quality control training for employees engaged in material handling or product assembly.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Set up records and procedures to report to management information relating to faulty manufacture, packaging, raw materials, weights, improper storage/distribution, etc., and take corrective action when necessary.
- Audit Compliance: Audit compliance with ISO cosmetic GMP, Cosmos, and HALAL certification standards, ensuring that our products meet the required regulatory requirements.
- GMP Standards: Collaborate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the plant's GMP standards, ensuring that our products are manufactured in a safe and controlled environment.
- Stability Studies: Conduct stability studies and packaging compatibility verification of new packing materials in coordination with the packaging department.
- Internal Audits: Conduct internal audits to identify areas of improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Safety Standards: Assist in the development, evaluation, and continual improvement of safety standards, procedures, and practices.
- Communication: Actively work on the production floor to facilitate the exchange of data between various departments.
- Non-Conformities: Manage, in collaboration with the functions involved and with the R&D Manager, any non-conformities detected at suppliers, within the company, and at the customer.
- Customer Complaints: Handle customer complaints, identifying root causes and monitoring the progress of CAPAs and their completion times.
- Company Policies: Cooperate with other management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, and goals, taking necessary measures if people are performing unsafe acts or are in an unsafe environment.
- Quality Improvement: Suggest methods of improving product quality, design, or manufacturing processes.
- Quality Issues: Participate and recommend solutions to common quality issues.
- Department Targets: Ensure daily control items align with the company business plan and key objectives/metrics.
- Management Review: Attend Management Review/ISO meetings.
- Policy Compliance: Take necessary measures when there is a deviation from policies and standards.
- Staff Communication: Ensure the communication of the department targets and the monthly results to his/her staff.
- Regulatory Compliance: Keep informed on new/changing regulations related to the Quality Control function within your responsibility.
- Special Projects: Implement special projects and procedures as directed.
- Department Budget: Participate in setting an operating budget, goals, and objectives of the department and work toward meeting and/or exceeding these expectations.
- Travel: May be required to travel for training.
