About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at izil Beauty. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Quality Control Operations: Direct and oversee quality control operations, developing and implementing quality programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  2. Quality Protocols: Establish and manage quality control protocols to monitor product quality at various stages of production, including raw materials, packing materials, intermediate products, and finished goods.
  3. Inspections and Quality Checks: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify and address any quality issues, ensuring that products meet the required standards.
  4. Training and Development: Develop methods of inspection, testing, and sampling, and conduct quality control training for employees engaged in material handling or product assembly.
  5. Record Keeping and Reporting: Set up records and procedures to report to management information relating to faulty manufacture, packaging, raw materials, weights, improper storage/distribution, etc., and take corrective action when necessary.
  6. Audit Compliance: Audit compliance with ISO cosmetic GMP, Cosmos, and HALAL certification standards, ensuring that our products meet the required regulatory requirements.
  7. GMP Standards: Collaborate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the plant's GMP standards, ensuring that our products are manufactured in a safe and controlled environment.
  8. Stability Studies: Conduct stability studies and packaging compatibility verification of new packing materials in coordination with the packaging department.
  9. Internal Audits: Conduct internal audits to identify areas of improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  10. Safety Standards: Assist in the development, evaluation, and continual improvement of safety standards, procedures, and practices.
  11. Communication: Actively work on the production floor to facilitate the exchange of data between various departments.
  12. Non-Conformities: Manage, in collaboration with the functions involved and with the R&D Manager, any non-conformities detected at suppliers, within the company, and at the customer.
  13. Customer Complaints: Handle customer complaints, identifying root causes and monitoring the progress of CAPAs and their completion times.
  14. Company Policies: Cooperate with other management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, and goals, taking necessary measures if people are performing unsafe acts or are in an unsafe environment.
  15. Quality Improvement: Suggest methods of improving product quality, design, or manufacturing processes.
  16. Quality Issues: Participate and recommend solutions to common quality issues.
  17. Department Targets: Ensure daily control items align with the company business plan and key objectives/metrics.
  18. Management Review: Attend Management Review/ISO meetings.
  19. Policy Compliance: Take necessary measures when there is a deviation from policies and standards.
  20. Staff Communication: Ensure the communication of the department targets and the monthly results to his/her staff.
  21. Regulatory Compliance: Keep informed on new/changing regulations related to the Quality Control function within your responsibility.
  22. Special Projects: Implement special projects and procedures as directed.
  23. Department Budget: Participate in setting an operating budget, goals, and objectives of the department and work toward meeting and/or exceeding these expectations.
  24. Travel: May be required to travel for training.
