Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer

This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Sales Engineer at Solidify Technical Services LLC. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, communicating the benefits and features of our products, and driving sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and Target Clients: Research and identify potential clients who can benefit from our products.
  • Develop a Strategic Approach: Develop a strategic approach to expand our customer base.
  • Understand Client Needs: Understand client needs and offer customized solutions.
  • Collaborate with Technical Teams: Collaborate with technical teams to design and develop product proposals.
  • Conduct Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for clients.
  • Negotiate Sales Contracts: Negotiate sales contracts and close deals.
  • Provide Ongoing Support: Provide ongoing customer support and maintain client relationships.
  • Stay Updated: Stay updated on our product offerings, technical specifications, and industry trends.
  • Explain Complex Features: Explain complex technical features to clients during live demonstrations.
  • Expand Sales Territories: Expand sales territories by networking with potential clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (engineering, production, and marketing) to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
  • Provide Feedback: Provide feedback to improve product offerings based on client interactions.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: A bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field (optional). A must-have proven experience in technical sales positions in the same industry.
  • Experience with Custom Manufacturing: Experience with custom manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Strong Technical Acumen: Strong technical acumen to understand and explain product features.
  • Proficiency in CRM Software: Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to Break Down Technical Terminology: Ability to break down technical terminology for clients.
  • Analytical Mindset: Analytical mindset to address client challenges effectively.
  • Creative Problem-Solving Skills: Creative problem-solving skills to tailor solutions to specific needs.
