  • Supervise Stewarding Department Employees: Oversee the daily activities of stewarding department employees, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Chemical Management: Supervise the consumption of all stewarding chemicals, ensuring they are used in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Sanitation and Cleanliness: Ensure the sanitation, cleanliness, and hygiene of all areas under stewarding department responsibility, including equipment and facilities.
  • Employee Safety: Ensure all stewarding employees follow safety instructions while cleaning machinery and equipment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Conduct regular checks to ensure service and kitchen operating equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
  • Inventory and Payroll: Control and document all outgoing equipment, ensure proper receiving upon return, and participate in monthly and annual inventory.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Attend regular Food & Beverage department meetings and conduct monthly meetings with stewarding employees to ensure open communication and teamwork.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Ensure emergency exits are always in clean condition and free of obstacles, with easy access from inside.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of stewarding department operations and safety protocols.
