Hotel Guest Services Supervisor
At Anantara Hotels & Resorts, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Guest Services Supervisor to join our team. This key role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, ensuring that every interaction with our guests is memorable and exceeds their expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Anticipate and meet the needs of our guests, providing personalized service and ensuring their stay with us is comfortable and enjoyable.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the front office, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes, and resolving any guest complaints or issues promptly and efficiently.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our hotel products and services, including room types, rates, and promotions, to provide expert advice and recommendations to our guests.
- Work closely with our concierge team to provide exceptional guest experiences, including arranging transportation, dining reservations, and other special requests.
- Ensure the lobby area is clean and tidy at all times, and provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for our guests.
- Assist with luggage storage and provide a luggage storage service for guests as needed.
- Coordinate the delivery of messages and other items to guest rooms, ensuring prompt and efficient service.
- Provide coaching and guidance to our front office team members, supporting their development and ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Arrange shift schedules and maintain effective rostering for our front office team, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet guest demands.
- Complete all other shift duties as outlined on the shift checklist, and ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Ensure that our transportation arrangements are smooth and efficient, including coordinating taxi, private vehicle, and limousine services as required.
- Assist other areas of the hotel as needed, providing support and assistance to ensure that all guest needs are met.
- Drive buggies carefully and demonstrate good driving skills, setting a positive example for our team members.
- Maintain the FO buggy fleet, reporting any damages or issues to the Duty Manager or Assistant Front Office Manager.
- Order guest supplies through our inventory system, ensuring that all necessary items are available and readily accessible.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Previous experience in a similar role for at least 1 year
- Luxury hotel experience is a must
- Passion for excellent service
- Excellent team player and great communication skills
