We are seeking an experienced sales professional to fill the position of Sales Director – Defense at Specialist Services Group. This individual will be responsible for leading our sales efforts in the defense sector, developing and implementing sales strategies, managing sales targets, conducting market research, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop Sales Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive sales strategies tailored to International Prime Contractors and OEMs in the defense sector.
  2. Manage Sales Targets: Collaborate with leadership to set ambitious yet achievable sales targets, consistently striving to meet or exceed quotas.
  3. Conduct Market Research: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, emerging needs, and potential clients within the defense sector.
  4. Foster Client Relationships: Foster strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including prime contractors, OEMs, and government entities.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Sales & Business Development Expertise: Proven track record of success in sales and business development within the defense industry.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage high-performing sales teams.
  • Defense Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the defense industry, including technical requirements and regulatory compliance.
  • Technical Sales Expertise: Ability to communicate complex technical information to customers.
  • Contract Negotiation & Management: Experience in contract negotiation and management, ensuring favorable outcomes for both the client and the company.
