ENGIE Middle East is seeking a highly skilled Building Management System (BMS) Operator to join our team. As a BMS Operator, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the BMS system, ensuring its proper function and monitoring its performance against approved benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain the BMS system, ensuring its proper function and monitoring its performance against approved benchmarks.
  • Monitor the operation of the HVAC control systems using the BMS/DCIM to monitor performance.
  • Adjust variables and provide adjustments as required to ensure systems are operating correctly within parameters.
  • Monitor and record values of HVAC systems to build up a database of records to provide data for energy efficiency improvement.
  • Communicate all maintenance and repair actions in writing for information to management as required.
  • Follow protocols if any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time.
  • Monitor and verify the operation of all BMS/DCIM field devices.
  • Adjust BMS settings and parameters to meet changing conditions, i.e., Load, Environmental, Customer needs, etc.
  • Record maintenance data and generate reports as needed.
  • Maintain job card documentation for all Alarms or changes to systems and/or equipment.
  • Monitor the fire detection alarm system, such as smoke detector, heat detector, sprinkler, and emergency exit, in coordination with Safety Function.
  • Monitor the water tank supply level alarm, air handling unit, fresh air handling unit.
  • Monitor and control the Fire pump system, motors, sewage pump, electrical system, water system in the Data Center building.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the Facility Engineer.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in BMS operation and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of BMS systems and their operation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
