About the Role

This is a key position within Emirates Inflight Retail & HQ Retail Services, reporting directly to the Retail Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the operational aspects of the business, including planning, organizing, and controlling sales channels, product research, and stock management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operational Support: Assist the Retail Manager in setting up and managing sales channels, including new outlets, shops, pre-order, internet, and intranet retailing, to maximize revenue potential.
  2. Product Research and Development: Research new products, analyze product categories, and identify opportunities for revenue growth through various sales channels. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure product quality and terms meet Emirates' needs.
  3. Stock Management: Control stock movements, ensuring timely delivery of products, and monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock holding. Liaise with suppliers, Emirates, and bonded warehouses to ensure continuity of product availability.
  4. Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor retail products and provide insights to inform sales strategy, ensuring Emirates' products remain competitive and a leader in the field of inflight retail sales and shops sales.
  5. Quality Control and Customer Feedback: Monitor and evaluate product defects or brochure quality, identify trends, and determine causes of potential problems. Take corrective action with suppliers to remedy issues and prevent future occurrences. Seek and manage customer feedback and complaints.
  6. Team Leadership and Development: Lead and coach team members to promote a high-performance culture, team collaboration, and ongoing upskilling and development. Conduct regular performance management reviews to meet objectives and development plans.
Requirements

This role requires a strong background in marketing, with experience in managing shops and a proven track record in sales and marketing or finance roles. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of PC skills, MS Office software, and databases, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
