The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the cooks in the preparation of a range of food items in accordance with established recipes and menu specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of food orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist cooks in cutting vegetables and other food products to ensure high-quality presentation.
  • Support cooks in all meal preparation, including portioning meals and salads, and preparing sandwiches according to standards.
  • Assemble trollies/tray setups and label food products as per food hygiene standards.
  • Prepare juices and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a healthy and safe working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • At least 1-3 years of experience in a similar setting is required.
  • Knowledge of basic food safety principles and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
