Housekeeping Coordinator Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Coordinator to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our Housekeeping department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Run sold room reports to identify vacant rooms and prioritize cleaning tasks.
  • Verify room status and determine discrepant rooms, working closely with Housekeeping management to resolve any issues.
  • Assist in managing daily Housekeeping activities, including coordinating with Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry teams.
  • Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms, working closely with the Front Desk to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Prepare and distribute room assignments to Housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient room cleaning and turnover.
  • Monitor and update the list of 'Do Not Disturb' rooms, ensuring that vacant dirty rooms are cleaned by the necessary time.
  • Complete required Housekeeping paperwork, maintaining accurate records and reports.
