Job Description

Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at The First Group Dubai. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our team members are well-trained and motivated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff, to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure Quality Service: Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service, including prompt and attentive service, accurate orders, and a clean and welcoming dining environment.
  • Monitor and Control Expenses: Monitor and control expenses, including labor costs, inventory, and supplies, to ensure that we are operating within budget.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train and develop staff members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional service and to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Maintain a clean and safe environment, including the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms, to ensure that our guests feel comfortable and welcome.
  • Communicate with Management: Communicate with management to ensure that all tasks and responsibilities are completed and that any issues or concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Other Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by management, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multitask. Knowledge of restaurant operations and procedures, including inventory management and cash handling.
  • Certifications: Food safety certification and any other certifications required by law or by The First Group Dubai.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The supervisor will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The supervisor will also be required to be on call and to respond to emergencies as needed.
