Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Tortilla Restaurant. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our front-of-house and back-of-house staff, ensuring seamless service delivery and exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
    • Train and mentor staff on restaurant policies, procedures, and customer service standards, ensuring consistent adherence.
  • Customer Service and Satisfaction
    • Monitor and evaluate customer ratings and feedback to gauge satisfaction levels and identify areas for improvement.
    • Encourage and motivate the team to provide excellent customer service and exceed customer expectations.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Regularly inspect and replenish the food display area with fresh and visually appealing food items.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role in the restaurant industry.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills to manage a team and oversee restaurant operations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with staff, guests, and vendors.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience.
  • Indepth knowledge of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house procedures.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with professionalism and diplomacy.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations in a restaurant environment.
  • Proficient computer skills for point-of-sale systems, inventory management, and scheduling software.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Knowledge of Tortilla Restaurants menu, brand, and service standards is an advantage.
  • Ability to lift and carry moderate weights and stand for extended periods.
