Executive Culinary Director

**Job Summary**
The Jumeirah Group Dubai is seeking an experienced and innovative Executive Chef to lead our culinary operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the success of our food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and contributing to the profitability of the hotel.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Participate in the development of the Annual Business Plan to ensure the culinary operation is adequately represented and aligned with the hotel's strategic objectives.
- Make recommendations to Senior Management for modernization of equipment, service methods, and presentation to improve guest satisfaction and stay ahead of the competition.
- Oversee the F&B Production processes, planning of menus, and designing standard recipes to ensure consistent quality in food production, meeting guest expectations, and contributing to the profitability of the hotel.
- Monitor and analyze the menus and products of competitive restaurants and stay up-to-date with international culinary trends to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Frequently verify that the dishes served in the outlets meet guest expectations and hotel standards, ensuring a high level of quality and consistency.
- Create signature dishes for each outlet, enhancing the culinary experience and driving revenue growth.
- Work closely with the Group Culinary Director to align culinary strategies and best practices across the organization.
- Liaise with Engineering to ensure prompt and efficient repair and maintenance of equipment, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless operations.
- Liaise with Stewarding to ensure an adequate supply of equipment and maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards, meeting the required regulatory standards.
- Liaise with Purchasing to ensure prompt and efficient purchasing, food quality, issuing of supplies, stock control, and inventory control, optimizing costs and minimizing waste.
- Ensure that HACCP and other local regulations are adhered to, maintaining the highest food hygiene standards and protecting the reputation of the hotel.
- Provide creative culinary ideas to enhance the image and reputation of the culinary operation, driving revenue growth and increasing guest satisfaction.
