About the Role

Asterix Communications is seeking a highly skilled Change Management Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and supporting all changes in our network and IT systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Change Request Management: Coordinate and arrange technical evaluations, and provide change request releases.
  2. CAB Meeting Management: Preside over CAB meetings to discuss planned RFCs (Fixed/Mobile).
  3. Post-Assurance: Follow up on activity completion and trigger fault processes as needed.
  4. Maximo Tool Management: Attend to Maximo Tool RFCs and assist sponsors with updates.
  5. Business Outage Notification: Send business outage/hazard notifications as required.
  6. Business Concerns: Adhere to business concerns raised regarding SA/TC notifications.
  7. Technical Consultation: Provide technical/governance consultation to NIS, TSRM, TSO, IPSDP domain.
  8. Weekly Meetings: Conduct weekly change management advisory board meetings and contribute to ad-hoc meetings.
  9. On-Call Support: Provide on-call support and after-hours assistance as needed.
  10. Emergency RFCs: Attend to emergency RFCs after working hours and participate in carrier activities.
  11. Department Coordination: Coordinate with other departments on normal/urgent activities.
  12. Change Request Scheduling: Schedule and prioritize change requests to ensure timely completion.
  13. Maximo Tool Administration: Handle day-to-day administration of the Maximo tools.
  14. Reporting: Provide reports on network performance, availability, SLA achievement, and planned/unplanned outage activities.
Requirements

Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor's degree in electronic or computer telecommunications.

Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role in the telecommunication industry.

Skills:

- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate up to C-level.

- Complete knowledge of ETOM and ITIL.

- Ability to work on shift and flexible working hours.

- Expertise in Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

- Ability to make eligible decisions under pressure and long working hours.

- Knowledge of SharePoint and Maximo.
