About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Influencer Marketing Manager to spearhead our global creator-centric community strategy across various platforms. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating Creators from our MR/VR audience, developing platform-specific strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovative scaled creator and community management plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Community Strategy: Develop and execute a global creator-centric community strategy across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, Discord, Reddit, Twitch, and other relevant platforms.
  • Creator Engagement: Create platform-specific strategies for proactive and reactive creator and fan engagement programs.
  • Discord Community Management: Establish processes for Discord community management and activation to achieve lasting results and best practices.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Marketing, Creative, Sales, Performance Marketing, Brand Strategy, PR) to develop innovative scaled creator and community management plans.
  • Agency Partnerships: Manage agency partners and work closely with customer service and cross-functional teams.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze and report on scaled creator and Discord community management performance to continuously optimize efforts.
  • Global Coordination: Operate globally and coordinate initiatives with regional marketing counterparts.
  • Community Growth: Develop playbooks to grow and retain the Meta Quest Discord Community.
  • Content Moderation: Moderate user content and enforce guidelines for a positive, safe environment.
  • Program Expansion: Expand and promote the Meta Quest Creator Program alongside agency partners.
  • Feature Awareness: Increase awareness of new hardware and software features within the creator program and community.
  • Community Insights: Examine community data to identify trends, sentiment, and improvement areas.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 8+ years of social media or community management experience in consumer product categories such as consumer tech, gaming, entertainment, or culture.
  • Track Record: Proven track record of creating successful social & influencer activation strategies.
  • Agency Partnerships: Experience leading agency partners and inspiring high-quality work for social channels.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to influence strategic decisions.
  • Trends Understanding: Understanding of social marketing, creator, and content trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent marketing experience.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in innovative consumer product categories like consumer tech and/or AR/VR technologies, gaming, or culture brands.
  • Personal Qualities: Gamer and active Quest MR/VR user and advocate.
